Josh Homme from Queens Of The Stone Age answers your questions

Posted in Sounds with tags , on March 12, 2014 by Jason Lenox

Everything from his favourite ice cream flavour, to his plans for another Desert Sessions album, his thoughts on the recent Grammys debacle, and the new version of Kyuss.

Silversun Pickups Lead Singer Brian Aubert – Interview

Posted in Sounds with tags , , , on March 9, 2014 by Jason Lenox

Brian Aubert is the lead singer for Silversun Pickups, the huge alternative band that tours the world, but started in the artistic Los Angeles neighborhood of Silverlake. There is startlingly little information about Brian available online, but he speaks to Ana Kasparian about the origins of Silversun Pickups, band members, touching and personal lyrics he’s written, his voice, his love of What the Flick, and much more. What was it like when the Mitt Romney 2012 presidential campaign co-opted Silversun Pickups’ “Panic Switch” without the band’s permission? Have Brian and the band become more political from that point? What went into the new single, “Cannibal?”

Brian Aubert and Ana Kasparian discuss all this and more, here on TYT Interviews!

Get a deeper look into Pat’s world! http://win.gs/19fw6MD In the premiere episode of Blueprint, Pat Moore and the crew tear up Quebec on the hunt for new terrain to ride in Pat’s new Volcom Snowboarding film project. Tune in to see Pat Moore’s evolving style and witness some solid handrail riding from his French Canadian friends Nic Sauve and LNP.

It’s not usually a good idea to make assumptions, but when you’re about to watch a part containing the riding of Pat Moore, it’s a pretty safe bet you can set your expectations high. In his #IP3 debut, Pat delivers and then some, per usual. Whether he is navigating steeps or steel, this New Hampshire Dirt has no problem conquering megalith-sized features and doing so with good style. Enjoy the latest video in Volcom’s #IP3.

This week’s Introspect follows Pat Moore on the road to Mammoth and Utah, reminding us that snowboarding isn’t just about contests and video parts. Find out how Pat stays productive while traveling, how he approaches filming and what lines he draws between being a professional snowboarder and just having fun.
